I once heard a quote that stayed with me:
“Your talent is God’s gift to you. What you do with it is your gift back to God.”
That line has shaped how I think about creativity—and what I choose to do with it.
That’s why I started Elevated Art.
I’ve always been drawn to creating. No pun intended 😉
I studied art formally at Stern College, exploring everything from painting and sculpture to design, photography, videography, and beyond. I’ve worked in creative fields ever since.
But painting has always been the thing I come back to.
Give me a canvas and a brush, and I could sit there for hours.
It’s the one place I feel fully present.
Time fades, the world gets quiet. It’s where I breathe.
Especially when it’s Jewish art.
When I paint pesukim or words from Torah, it feels like a quiet conversation with Hashem.
It’s not just about the art—it’s about bringing Torah into the walls of our homes.
I truly believe that when Hashem gives you a talent, using it with intention brings you closer to Him.
Elevated Art was born from that belief.
And I know I’m not the only one looking for that feeling in my space.
I know the feeling of staring at blank walls.
Waiting for the piece that feels right—something meaningful, modern, beautiful… but still within reach.
That’s what I create.
Jewish art that elevates your home and reflects your values.
Pieces that feel soulful and curated, but still accessible.
Your home should feel intentional.
Your walls should feel like you.
Every piece I create holds that intention—and I’m so grateful to share it with you.
XOXO,
Hana Karfunkel
