Ma'ayan HaShiloach (the Shiloach Spring) is an ancient site in Jerusalem, dating back to the days of the Beit HaMikdash — water was drawn from it for use in the Temple service.
As a Jerusalemite who loves the holy sites of the city, I painted this scene on parchment and added matching verses from Tehillim, describing pilgrims passing through a valley and finding it filled with springs, going "from strength to strength" until they appear before Hashem in Zion. Around the painting, I illustrated gates in an antique Jerusalemite style, along with flowers in the same style.
A meaningful piece of Jerusalem-themed art for the home or as a gift.
