Personalized Jerusalem stone paintings
Maale Adumim
My name is Avi Ohayon — though to many Yerushalmi residents, I'm simply The Man in Shefa. I paint on genuine Jerusalem stone — not just working with it, but drawing out its history, its weight, its warmth. If you've spent time in the Rav Shefa Mall, you may have seen me on the second floor — brush in hand, surrounded by fragments of Jerusalem itself. Each hand-painted piece is a quiet tribute to the city — the Kotel (Western Wall), Migdal David (Tower of David), the Bet Hamikdash — its alleys, its light, its timelessness, captured in stone and pigment. What makes the pieces here unlike anything else: each one can be personalized with your name or message, hand-painted in Hebrew or English right into the scene. A custom family name plaque, a personalized mezuzah, a one-of-a-kind Jewish wedding or housewarming gift — painted in Jerusalem and shipped worldwide. My personalized work is available exclusively online at Joodaic.

Hello, I'm The Man in Shefa.
