Midnight at the Kotel
The Kosel is where night becomes the day. Even at the latest hour people walk up to the Western wall longing to pray. I wanted to demonstrate the level of every Jew’s love and longing, and midnight at the Western Wall was the perfect scene. In the dark hours of night, a wall is glowing, bright as if it were day, calling people to come to its side. And from the colorful streaks of the surrounding plants, swarms of people emerge and walk towards the Kosel, as if it were day. Only in this special place do such beautiful things like this happen.
